Support for NZ Millennium Cup continues to increase

With the NZ Millennium Cup superyacht regatta set to get underway on 15 February next year, the organising committee is delighted to have secured considerable support from Auckland-based Yachting Developments.

The Hobsonville-based superyacht new build and refit company has signed on as a platinum sponsor of the NZ Millennium Cup for three years.

NZ Millennium Cup chairman, Stuart Robinson, says it’s fantastic to have the support of Ian Cook and the team at Yachting Developments. “As we prepare to run the first of what will be annual NZ Millennium Cup regattas, it will be a pleasure to work with the Yachting Developments team and our other sponsors to maximise the profile of the event and the wider New Zealand marine industry.”

Held from 15-18 February 2012, the NZ Millennium Cup features harbour races in Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf as well as an array of social events. Newly established as an annual event, organisers are looking to build on past success to place the NZ Millennium Cup as the premier superyacht regatta in the South Pacific.
